Australian Exposure Information Portal
The Australian Exposure Information Portal (AEIP) provides access to nationally consistent exposure information and is created by Geoscience Australia (GA), in partnership with the Bushfire & Natural Hazard CRC. It can be used to assess risk from natural or man-made hazards. It includes exposure data on themes including building, businesses and people; public facilities and infrastructure assets; agricultural commodities, and environmental holdings within Australia. Exposure Reports provide a detailed statistical summary for an area of interest or selected geography. Available geographies include Local Government Area (LGA), Statistical Area Level 1 (SA1), Statistical Area Level 2 (SA2), Fire Weather Forecast Districts, postcodes, River Catchments, and suburbs. Reports include a summary in HTML format, Excel (XLSX) tables, a shapefile, and a GEOJSON file packed in a ZIP archive.
