Property Sales Statistics, Victoria
The Valuer-General Victoria releases annual and quarterly property sales statistics.
The annual release includes comprehensive sales data over a 10-year period for Local Government Areas (LGAs), suburbs, and other Victoria-specific regional breakdowns (e.g., metropolitan versus country Victoria). Sales coverage includes houses, units, vacant residential land and commercial, industrial and rural properties. It is presented as a report (PDF) and data tables (Excel format).
The quarterly release covers median sale prices by suburb and property type over 15 months, percentage shift in prices between quarters and over a 12-month period, and overall summaries for metropolitan and country Victoria. It is presented as data tables (Excel format) and a commentary (PDF) from the Valuer-General Victoria.
