A rental report and corresponding data providing key statistics on the private rental market in Victoria, produced by the VIC Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. The downloadable report (DOCX format) and data tables in Excel format (XLSX) describe rental trends for the most recent quarter, including median weekly rent, rental indices for regional Victoria and Melbourne based on median rents stratified by location and dwelling type, and annual percentage change from the relevant rent indices. Time series data is also provided on affordable lettings and quarterly median rents by Local Government Area, and on moving annual rents by suburb.
