Use of Chronic Disease Management and Allied Health Medicare Services

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) publishes data on use of Medicare chronic disease management (CDM) services and Medicare-subsidised allied health services as an interactive web report and downloadable data tables (Excel format). For 2019, GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangement service usage rates are available for Primary Health Networks (PHNs) and Statistical Area Level 3s (SAs). A larger range of usage data for 2019 and 2020 is available by state or territory, remoteness area, socioeconomic area, sex and gender, or age group. Time series data between 2010 to 2020 are available at the national level.
